Information pursuant to art. 13 of European Regulation concerning the processing of personal data (GDPR – Reg. U.E. 679/16)

Pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation UE 679/16 we hereby provide the following information concerning the processing of data which shall take place following the compiling of the given form and its endorsement.

Data controller is F.LLI CAMPAGNOLO SPA, located in 2 Merlo St, Romano d’Ezzelino, Vicenza, Italy which shall be contacted at e-mail address privacy@campagnolo.it.

Information provided through the form will be used for the following purposes:

  • to manage business relationship, including within it the contact with our sales organization, as a contractual necessity. Legal base: the processing is necessary in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (art. 6, point B), GDPR);
  • to create an individual account, if you do not use Guest profile or quick check out. Legal base: the processing is necessary in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (art. 6, point B), GDPR);
  • to manage all administrative and tax obligations, as a legal obligation (art. 6, point C) GDPR);
  • to defend rights of the controller from the contractual relationship. Legal base: legitimate interest of the Data controller (art. 6, point F) GDPR);
  • optionally, to send Data controller’s newsletter. The lawful base is consent given freely by the user.
  • In accordance with the regulations in force (art. 130. Co. 4 D.lgs. 196/03), the holder may use the email details you provide during the sale to offer you products similar to those you have purchased. However, if you do not wish to receive such communications, you may give notice of this at any time by using the contact details above or by using the link on the email communications you have received. The controller will, in this case, discontinue the aforementioned activity without delay. The legal basis is the legitimate interest of the data controller (Art. 6(F) GDPR).

The above mentioned aims shall be pursued upon your optional manifestation of consent following the ways shown on the page of data collection. We shall remind you that any data marked with * (asterisk) must be provided in order to benefit from the services you are going to require; whenever those data should be missing it may be not possible to supply those services and data may not be collected, as it may be stated during the compiling step.

Compiling of other data on the form is optional so please feel free to consider whether enter them or not.

The data you provide shall be brought to the notice of processing controller’s operators involved in performing the services required and any other third parties involved in the performing of the same activities as data processors.

Besides that, data provided shall be forwarded onto our commercial team for the advised purposes or shall be forwarded onto third parties if necessary in order to supply the required services.

Furthermore data shall be given to: a) subjects supplying administrative, accounting and financial services to our company, as data processor; b) subjects which have to be informed by law; c) banks in order to manage payments; d) insurance/debt collection companies; e) carriers for the transport service.

Data will be retained until the required services are accomplished or upon your cancellation request, and, in case of regulatory obligations, they might be stored in specific archives only as long as is strictly necessary for the mentioned purposes.

You can revoke your consent at any time by contacting the data controller via the email addresses provided.

We shall remind you the faculty of exercise your right to ask the data controller to access, correct or delete personal data, or ask for a processing restriction that relates to you and to oppose the same processing, besides the right of data portability; you shall exercise your rights by the above mentioned contact details.

We shall also remind you the faculty of contacting the controlling Authority in order to lodge a complaint, the Italian data protection body competent is the Garante (www.garanteprivacy.it ).
