In the enchanting Val di Mello, nestled within Val Masino in Lombardy, "Musica nell'Aria" offers a fusion of trekking and classical music, exploring nature through guided trails enriched by musical performances by musicians from the Teatro alla Scala Academy. This beautiful initiative is supported by the Lombardy Region, the Municipality of Val Masino, and the Val di Mello Nature Reserve.

The accessible itinerary is marked by four musical stops. At each stop, young musicians from the Teatro alla Scala Academy perform solo pieces in evocative settings, among small lakes, woods, and unique natural vistas.

The highlight takes place beneath the striking Sasso Remenno, the largest monolith in Europe, with a concert by the Orchestra of the Academy conducted by Pietro Mianiti. The musical programme, reflecting the beauty and grandeur of the surrounding nature, features works by great composers such as Rossini, Grieg, Mussorgsky, and Ravel, offering a musical reflection on nature itself.
