“The man who stopped time”

La Stampa

“Running is always my future,” said Marco Olmo, the legendary Italian trail runner who became world champion at an age when many have long hung up their running shoes. A message for those who already know the passion, and an encouragement for anyone thinking of taking up this sport — sooner or later — which becomes a lifestyle, filling every moment before, during, and after exercise; from a simple run along a flat trail to the incredible elevations of the most extreme ultratrails.

“In running, the last are certainly no less worthy than the first. In fact, in some respects, they are even more so. They reach the finish line after running many more hours than those at the front. They reach the finish line even knowing from the start that they will never have a medal around their neck.”

The challenge continues

Even today, the ultra-trail legend never stops testing his limits and those of the high-tech equipment that accompanies him.

In his latest success at the "100 km del Sahara," Marco Olmo braved the desert dunes, relying on the technology and lightness of our most innovative footwear, Jemini—a trail running shoe designed for those who, like him, see no obstacles, only new paths to explore.
