Lussarissimo

Lussarissimo is an alpine skiing event held annually on the picturesque slopes of Mount Lussari, in the Tarvisio area of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, offering a weekend packed with activities for winter sports enthusiasts and mountain lovers.

The highlight of the event is a spectacular giant slalom race, which winds its way along a technical and exciting course, surrounded by breathtaking views. The competition is open to both professional and amateur skiers, with different categories allowing participants of various skill levels to test themselves. The descent offers a combination of fast turns and more technical sections, ensuring an exciting challenge for all competitors.

In addition to the main race, Lussarissimo 2025 offers a series of side events designed to engage a wide and varied audience:

An evocative night-time walk in the moonlight, with a choice of two routes to tackle with snowshoes or crampons. Participants will be accompanied by instructors from the Italian Ski School of the Julian Alps, ensuring safety and enriching the experience with insights into the area and techniques for walking on snow.

Throughout the weekend, there will be activities dedicated to children and families, such as snow games, educational workshops and mini-competitions, to introduce even the least experienced to the world of winter sports in a fun and safe environment.

For lovers of fine cuisine, tastings of typical local products will be organised, offering the opportunity to discover the authentic flavours of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with traditional dishes and local wines.

The evenings will be enlivened by concerts and DJ sets, creating a festive and engaging atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and socialising after the day's sporting activities.
