Granfondo Dobbiaco Cortina
Dobbiaco-Cortina Granfondo is much more than just a cross-country skiing race. It is an unmissable event for lovers of snow and the Dolomites, attracting hundreds of skiers from all over the world every year, united by their passion for the mountains and sport.
The magic of cross-country skiing in the Dolomites
Considered one of the most prestigious events on the international scene, this competition crosses some of Italy's most evocative and unspoilt landscapes, where the majesty of the mountains meets the serenity of the snow-covered valleys.
The route
The route runs between Dobbiaco and Cortina d'Ampezzo, passing through coniferous forests that offer a unique atmosphere, with scenery that looks like something out of a postcard. Skiers cross enchanting plains, climbs that test their endurance and descents that offer moments of pure adrenaline, all under the protective gaze of the Dolomites, which in winter become the ideal setting for this high-level competition.
Difficulty for each level
Dobbiaco-Cortina Granfondo is perfect for skiers of all levels. With a choice of different distances and techniques, the event is designed to suit everyone, from beginners to experts. The competition offers the chance to try your hand at the classic technique race on 1 February, with a 31 km course, and the freestyle technique race on 2 February, over the same distance but with a completely different pace and skiing style, requiring greater speed and agility.
Every year, the race is a real celebration of cross-country skiing, with opportunities for enthusiasts to meet and share experiences, as well as an atmosphere of great sporting spirit. The slopes are impeccably prepared, thanks to the commitment of the organisers and the advanced technology available at the facilities.
