Snowshoeing in Trentino with Trentino Wild
Where to Go Snowshoeing in Trentino
Trentino is one of the most versatile locations for snowshoeing itineraries! It offers magnificent views and routes suitable for all levels, from those who have never tried this activity to those who have been doing it for years and are looking for a more technical route. For this reason, snowshoeing is suitable for adults but also for children; it's a fun activity for the whole family! The Trentino Wild outdoor center is located in Val di Sole in the towns of Dimaro, Caldes, and Croviana, surrounded by the magnificent Brenta Dolomites in the Adamello Park.
The Snowshoeing Experience
The snowshoeing excursions offered are experiences that will engage you 360°, stimulating all five senses!
We'll venture near Madonna di Campiglio where, once we reach our destination, you can admire the peaks of the Marmolada and Presanella mountain ranges and the entire Val di Non from above.
You'll enjoy the calm and silence that only snow can provide, taking advantage of a moment of peace and tranquility while exercising.
Once the activity is over, you can enjoy a delicious lunch based on typical products in one of the mountain huts you'll find at altitude, and once refreshed, you can return in complete tranquility by sled or snowmobile to the starting point!

What to Wear for Snowshoeing
One of the most important things when participating in a snowshoeing excursion is what you wear: clothing plays a fundamental role and can influence our perception of the activity itself. We absolutely don't want to reach the top and suffer from the cold when we can enjoy a fantastic view!
Here's what to wear for snowshoeing:
Layered clothing is always the best option; this way, if you feel warm, you can lighten up a bit:
Let's start with the first layer! Especially for those who are more sensitive to cold, a pair of thermal socks are excellent for avoiding the sensation of chilblains; thermal underwear will provide a thin layer of clothing to avoid hindering movements and to keep body heat in. Ski pants or softshell pants will prevent you from getting wet even if you sit directly in the snow!
To keep the upper body warm, we recommend a fleece or a heavy sweatshirt and over that, a ski jacket or heavy winter jacket.
As for footwear, to allow the snowshoe to perform its task perfectly, wearing hiking boots or trekking shoes with a hard sole is the best choice. The important thing is not to wear shoes with a very wide sole like moon boots.
For clothing, Trentino Wild guides trust CMP, which designs sports apparel for men, women, and children, perfect for every sports activity and beyond, using quality materials to make garments perform well without sacrificing style!
Now that you know everything about snowshoeing, all you have to do is put on your snowshoes and set off on a new adventure!
