The 177k Carnica Ultra Trail is not just a race; it is an immersive experience in the heart of the Carnic Alps. This event represents a true return to the roots, a celebration of untouched nature and personal challenge. Covering 177 kilometres, this trail offers participants not only a physical test but also an opportunity for deep connection with themselves and the surrounding environment.

The route passes through breathtaking landscapes, from alpine peaks to peaceful forests, showcasing a variety of scenes that reflect the wild beauty of the mountains. The 177k Carnica Ultra Trail is a chance to explore one’s abilities and overcome personal limits in a setting that values resilience and perseverance, celebrating the beauty of life and demonstrating that true strength lies in diversity and the capacity to face both physical and personal challenges.

Taking part in this competition means more than just running; it means living a unique adventure, where every step is an opportunity to rediscover inner strength. This event is for those who seek more than a simple race; it is for those who wish to experience an authentic and meaningful journey, immersed in one of Italy’s most captivating landscapes.

Now in its eighth edition, the 177k Carnica Ultra Trail stands out not only for its sporting challenge but also for its inclusive and charitable spirit. Organised by the association "Idee di Corsa," the event promotes social inclusion and the improvement of quality of life for people with disabilities and their families. Since 2016, "Idee di Corsa" has been carrying out inclusive sporting activities, such as mountain outings with young people with disabilities, using kbikes—special wheelchairs designed for mountain trails.

Proceeds from the 177k Carnica Ultra Trail registrations support the "Idee di Corsa" project, which provides sports scholarships to young people with physical or cognitive disabilities and to families in financial difficulty. This event is an extraordinary example of how sport can be a vehicle for positive messages and inclusion, making every participant part of a broader, supportive community.
